Jason Souza
Since 2002 Jason has been providing top tiered advice and consultation to individuals, families, business professionals, and entrepreneurs.
Jason started his practice as a tax qualified planning specialist in Clark County, Nevada assisting public school systems, non-profits, colleges/universities, and municipalities such as the Clark County School System, CCSD Police, Metro Police Dept. and Clark County Fire Fighters. Jason helped these employees structure and accumulate their foundational retirement nest eggs with their respective qualified planning options.
Jason comes from a long line of military and service veterans who have served their country with pride, and this is why he has gains so much satisfaction being able to provide proper preparation to deal with the onslaught of risks that we each face daily.
He also was a MDRT Life Insurance producer helping many families plan for their legacy and provide protection and confidence with various life insurance strategies. He has worked with many other advanced planning firms throughout his career where he brings a fresh perspective and elite planning strategies to the individual that corporate and business professionals utilize to maximize their growth and tax-free income.
Jason acted as a supervisor and has trained many other advisors, helping them advance their careers as top financial services professionals. He holds a Series 24, 7, 65, and 63 license in several states across the nation.
In the past 21 years, Jason has been a part of several wealth management firms and insurance producer general agencies that has allowed him to create his very own custom “Protection First” philosophy and 9 Step’s to Financial Freedom plan. Jason classifies himself as a defense 1st planner, where he helps protect his client’s lifestyle income and legacy and then works with several independent wealth managers to assist his client’s with their growth objectives.
Jason currently has been practicing and working with clients across the country from his home state of Rhode Island for the past 10 years where he is a proud husband and father to his 5 girls and dogs.
He is very philanthropic and prefers to work with clients that are charitable and look to provide growth to future generations.
The Golden R Dogs came about in 2016 when “Major,” the first Golden Retriever who was a natural to become a “service” dog, started providing therapy and comfort to many of the institutions, schools and facilities Jason provides service to.
Other like-minded non-profits such as The Hero Company and The Wounded Warrior project have been a huge influence as to why Jason today breeds Golden Retrievers, and assists in their service dog training capacity providing comfort and care for others.
It is a future goal of The Golden R Dog branch to continue to breed and provide other institutions a way to incorporate a service dog into their company, school, hospital or individuals lives as this industry is becoming much more popular given the current science and data that speaks to the importance dogs have in our lives.
Jason is a graduate of Quinnipiac University class of 99’ BS in International Business and a proud High School Alum of Bishop Hendricken High School 95’ where he was an Allstate baseball and football player.
